For those of you who didn’t buy Batman: Arkham City when it released…
WtF is wrong with you??
Luckily, for you, though the Game of the Year Edition will be released May 28th, and in addition to the original Arkham City game, it will include all current DLC packs:
The Batman Skin DLC:
The Playable Robin DLC:
The Playable Nightwing DLC:
In addition to all that Dark Knight goodness, you will also be getting a BRAND NEW DLC, which boasts the final chapter of the game “Harley Quinn’s Revenge”.
Unlike the DLC packs before it, this is a “true” add-on to the game, that promises an additional 2 hours of single player campaign. Not just a skin…not just a fight pack…an actual addition to the story.
Here’s a teaser that IGN just posted:
And here’s the description:
Payback’s a bitch, especially when dealing with The Joker’s most psychotic sidekick, Harley Quinn. Harley is the new boss of Arkham City and is determined to make Batman pay for what he’s done to The Joker. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment bring to you today a new trailer and screenshots from Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack, the final chapter of Batman: Arkham City saga that adds more than two hours of fresh single-player gameplay to the critically-acclaimed title from Rocksteady Studios. The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin.
Now, I know…those of you who already own the game are all “What the hell?? I’m not buying the GOTY Edition for just one chapter…This is BULLSHIT, man!”
Well, pull your bat tights out of your ass, because the Harley Quinn pack WILL be available for purchase on its own…Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel!
Also, if you haven’t gotten any of the other awesome DLCs, they are already available at Xbox Live, or Gamestop or PSN, or wherever the hell you get your gaming stuffs.
So, if you are missing the action of Arkham City since the day you completed it 9which was probably ALSO the day you bought it, you nerd), have no fear!
Arkham City GOTY and Harley’s Revenge both hit the nets on May 28th
